How do you choose breast implant size?

Determining the perfect implant to match your needs can be difficult.  When you come into the office, multiple measurements will be taken with our custom Sientra sizing system. When choosing an implant for your breast augmentation it is important to consider size, projection, and texture; all of which will be discussed during your consultation.

How long does breast implant surgery take?

The outpatient augmentation procedure usually takes around 1 hour. The outpatient augmentation and lift procedure (augmentation mastopexy) take around 2-3 hours. With either procedure, you are able to go home the same day. You are encouraged to be up and walking around but also taking it easy throughout the recovery process.

What are gummy bear implants?

The term “gummy bear” refers to the cohesive nature of the silicone gel. A “gummy bear” implant is one which is highly cohesive meaning the gel would not budge if you cut the implant in half with a knife. It would resemble the appearance of a “gummy bear” cut in half.
